RhinoTech Debuts Adhesive System

RhinoTech, Sarasota, Fla., now offers RhinoMite Adhesive, an easy-to-use, flexible, durable two-part adhesive system. It affords high-tensile strength, is impact- and solvent-resistant, and bonds the mesh to all types of frames.

RMA 3000-19 is a thick adhesive intended for use with coarser mesh to fill the mesh opening. It offers strong bonding capability to aluminum or wood screens.

RMA 3000-17 is a thin adhesive used with high-mesh counts and can easily penetrate the material for a secure bond. For screen printers seeking an even thinner version, RMT 3001 can be used to thin the adhesive further — up to 10% — by the screen printer.

Once applied, the adhesive dries in approximately 10 to 12 minutes. When RhinoMite is mixed with the catalyst, there is a pot life of 5 to 7 days stored in an air-tight container. Each unit is shipped as a kit with catalyst and is available in quarts and gallons. The adhesive can be ordered in red or amber. The red is suggested for use on yellow mesh.
